Dr. Jayson Dibble, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Communication at Hope College, Holland, Mich. He regularly teaches courses on interpersonal communication, persuasion, and quantitative research methods. His research interests include persuasion, why people don't like to share bad news, the role of technology in how people seek and maintain prospective romantic partners ("back burners"), and the relationships people form with media characters.
