Donald Trump’s now-infamous “grab them by the pussy” video couldn’t have come at a worse time for late-night hosts. As Variety notes, most of them had already recorded their Friday night episodes or were off for the night. But Stephen Colbert and Samantha Bee, in keeping with their Daily Show roots, quickly put together videos skewering the Republican candidate for their respective shows.
Ahead of the broadcast of his pre-recorded Late Show, Stephen Colbert released a YouTube of him watching the video in real-time. The usually loquacious host was reduced to mostly mumbling things like, “Oh, my goodness” over and over again (though he did manage one decent quip:“All the Tic Tacs in the world will not freshen his breath after this”), before finally turning the video off early. “I think I have the idea,” he said.
“Here’s what I really found disgusting,” he said later. “Trump says in the video, ‘When you’re a star they let you get away with anything.’ And unfortunately that’s true, because Donald Trump is the Republican nominee. Hopefully someday he’ll be telling the story of how he tried to fuck America and failed. Have a great debate on Sunday you guys!”
Samantha Bee and her team at Full Frontal also released a video last night, though they choose to parody Trump and Billy Bush’s vulgar bus chat instead of offering any commentary.
“You know what looks a little bit luscious to me,” Bee said in her video, which was edited to look and sound like Trump’s. “Balls. I just like to reach up there and grab them. Just get in there and reach in…Look at the nutsack on that guy. I’d like to make a hat out of those balls.”

She even prepared an apology that mocked Trump’s:

The Daily Show, meanwhile, had this reaction:

Daniel Radosh, one of the show’s writers, however, has been much vocal about the video on Twitter.

And for a much more explicit celebrity rejection of Trump, here’s a video of Robert De Niro saying he’d like to punch him in the face.
