SXSW 2017 Is Over: This Is What People Enjoyed Most

SXSW, the music festival that takes over Austin with hundreds of showcases, movies, food trucks, and free swag has come to an end for another year.

FOMO ran deep this week, as festivalgoers constantly heard about things they missed on Twitter and Instagram. Luckily, the free events with no lines, unofficial showcases and complimentary drinks were easy to find.

It was incredible to see so many hopeful people gathered in one place. Everyone was equally excited about the new experiences one festival could bring into their lives.

SXSW is a place that makes it possible to see either your favorite artist, an artist you have always been dying to see, or a band that will soon be a new favorite. Many people this week told us they come to SXSW every year to reconnect with friends who live all over the world.

On the last day of the 10-day festival, when most people are exhausted, possibly sunburned and brimming with memorable moments, we walked around to gather information from the sea of people hailing from all corners of the world to find out what their favorite part of SXSW this year was. Click through the gallery to read what we found out.
