Woman Slaps Bouncer After He Refuses to Accept Pizza Slice As ID

Underage college students trying to sneak into bars with fake IDs is practically a national pastime. What’s less common is a college student trying to sneak into a bar with a fake ID that’s actually a slice of pizza.

As the Daily Hampshire Gazette reports, police say that a woman presumed to be a college student tried to walk into an Amherst, Mass. watering hole called the Monkey Bar, but was stopped by a bouncer who asked for ID. The woman then held out a slice of pizza as proof that she was over 21.

After the bouncer informed her that pizza was not a valid form of identification, the woman then allegedly slapped him in the face.

“He’s all right,” Monkey Bar owner Rasif Rafiq told BuzzFeed. “They have to have really thick skin, so this was a comparatively entertaining incident.”

Amherst police issued a trespass notice to the woman to stay away from the location, but Rafiq says he doesn’t hold a grudge.

“We wish her the best with continuing her education,” he said. “We’ve all had nights in college we regret.”
