Gal Gadot is known for portraying Wonder Woman. Does she smoke weed?
Gal Gadot is one of the world’s biggest stars, all thanks to her role as Wonder Woman, which became one of the most profitable movies in the industry.
Recently, Gadot went viral for reasons she probably didn’t expect; with good intentions in mind, she organized a video of herself and other famous people singing John Lennon’s “Imagine,” as a way of providing hope and entertainment for quarantined people all over the world. The response wasn’t what celebrities expected.

Gadot hasn’t addressed the memes and criticisms and she likely won’t. Still, it made us wonder: Does Gal Gadot smoke weed?

Like most celebrities with large followings, Gadot has a team of publicists that carefully tailor her image. The fact that she’s part of a huge super hero franchise and is an icon for young girls means that her publicists work hard to keep her image clean. Finding a photo of her smoking a joint is highly unlikely.
Still, we did the research and found some data that allows for us to speculate.
In 2018, during the Oscars Awards Ceremony, Jimmy Kimmel, Armie Hammer, Gadot and other actors surprised an audience at the TCL Chinese movie theater. When they entered the room Kimmel said that it smelled strongly of marijuana. “It’s true,” Gadot said. Then she joked, “I wouldn’t know though.”
So that’s a careful yes? This isn’t the 50s. Everyone’s smoked weed at some point in their lives.

On the other hand, there’s a beloved marijuana strain called Wonder Woman, which Growth Op describes as:
“On a bad day, Wonder Woman can make one believe they have superpowers. With effects ranging from calmness to a boost of energy, the strain can come in handy to fight the evil powers of negativity and darkness. On other occasions, the effects can be quite the opposite — making one feel like a wannabe sidekick prone to anxiety and dizzying spells.”
So we may not know whether Gadot smokes weed or not, but at least we know there’s some truly powerful weed named after her most iconic role.
