It’s been a busy four weeks for Meghan Markle. She gave birth May 6 to baby Archie, briefly showing him off to the public days later, and then immediately went into hiding. Now, everyone wants to know when the Duchess of Sussex going to resurface.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie tells Yahoo UK’s “The Royal Box’” that the new mom “wants to see out the entire summer before she really contemplates going back to work, but she will be out for the Queen’s birthday parade on June 8 — Trooping the Colour — so that’ll be her first official back to public engagement since the arrival of baby Archie.”

Meghan attended last year’s Trooping the Colour, which was just a few weeks after she and Harry got married. This time, instead of a new husband she has a new son.

Trooping the Colour is an annual spectacle celebrating the official birthday of the British Monarch. Basically, it’s an excuse for the royal family to gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch flyovers from the British Air Force.

After Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis last April, she attended the Trooping The Colour festivities and then proceeded to take six months of maternity leave.
It’s likely we’ll get a glimpse of Meghan at this year’s event, too. Unless she and Harry have already moved to the U.S..
