Halloween is near and though you may not be an expert cannaisseur chef, if you can get your hands on a cannabis chocolate bar there are some fun and easy Halloweed treats you can make with a quick substitution or two! Check out the below recipes for some fun snacks to make that will get you nice and stoned! Just be sure if you’re having a party that all of the guests are properly forewarned.
Marshmallow Pops

These are an absolute favorite among friends — consider even welcoming your guests with a nice sativa to smoke right off the bat before bringing them into the kitchen to make their own marshmallow pops. Set up the ingredients beforehand and you’ll simply have to melt the chocolate in the microwave. Guests can choose from a variety of toppings and create their own unique Halloweed Treat. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:

½ Cup Chocolate Chips
Wooden Skewer or Straw
Marshmallows
Variety of Decorative Sprinkles
1-2 teaspoons Vegetable Shortening
Wax or Parchment Paper
Directions:
Set out the different types of sprinkles or toppings you bought on different plates and line up all of the marshmallows with the skewers or straws sticking out of their tops.
In a microwave-safe dish, combine a ½ cup of regular chocolate chips of your choice with your desired dose of cannabis chocolate (start low for beginners). Microwave in short 10-15 second bursts while adding vegetable shortening to get the correct consistency.
Once it’s melted, simply roll your marshmallows through the chocolate first and then through the sprinkles and let them dry!

With only a couple of necessary ingredients, these are easy to make too, which will free up more time for the rest of the party prep … or smoking a pre-party bowl to relax.

Regular Milk Chocolate Bar
1 tablespoon Vegetable Shortening
¼ Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
Directions:
In a microwave-safe dish, combine a ½ cup of regular chocolate chips of your choice with your desired dose of cannabis chocolate (start low for beginners). Microwave in short 10-15 second bursts while adding vegetable shortening to get the correct consistency.
Place baking cups in a miniature muffin tin (or a makeshift replacement) and place a bottom layer of chocolate in each cup.
Next, melt the peanut butter in the microwave and layer into each of the cups on top of the chocolate. Finally, top it off with the remaining chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until solidified.

While this final recipe can be used pre-Halloween, it might be best served once you’ve got a stash of post-Halloween candy sitting around. You can take whatever leftover candy you’ve got lying around and throw it together with a nice, chocolate, stoney base layer and have a delicious treat to close out the holiday with.

In a microwave-safe dish, combine regular chocolate chips of your choice with your desired dose of cannabis chocolate (start low for beginners). Microwave in short 10-15 second bursts while adding vegetable shortening to get the correct consistency.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the chocolate mixture onto the sheet while spreading it evenly with a spoon or spatula. While the chocolate is warm, take your leftover Halloween candy and and set it on top of the chocolate, lightly pressing it downwards make sure it sticks. Let it cool before eating.
