Grasshopper Kiosks announced the launch of its latest series of ADA compliant Automated Sales Kiosks designed for the legal cannabis industry, which provide automation for the secure storage and dispensing of regulated products.
Grasshopper’s automated sales kiosks were purposefully designed to work in accordance with complex regulations in the largest legal cannabis markets in the world. The Grasshopper systems provide secure, climate-controlled product storage, and compliant automated inventory and payment tracking designed to streamline transaction times while collecting real-time data about inventory and sales trends.
The Grasshopper product line includes a Self-Service Kiosk that can efficiently dispense up to 60 unique SKU’s via a large high-definition touchscreen display menu – making it a powerful tool for dispensaries to promote and sell their most popular products, including flower, concentrates, accessories and vaporizers.
Grasshopper also provides dispensaries with a Controlled Access Inventory System. Items are dispensed via proprietary tracking software designed to interface with the industry’s leading compliant POS systems, as required in the regulated cannabis industry. Grasshopper looks forward to helping permitted retailers streamline the customer experience, improve their record keeping, reduce shrinkage, and better preserve and display valuable products.
“California is the 6th largest economy in the world and its legal cannabis market is a rapidly expanding, multi-billion dollar business. Legal dispensaries are hustling to prepare for increased demand in 2018 when the sale and responsible adult use of cannabis becomes legal,” said Martin Kaufman, CEO of Grasshopper Kiosks. “We’re excited to offer these tools to our industry peers, designed to help them keep up with ever-evolving regulations and increased competition.”
Kaufman has over a decade of experience operating in the legal cannabis market and is the co-founder of Blüm. the first publicly traded dispensary chain and IVXX, a national premium cannabis brand.
“Running compliant dispensaries in multiple markets drove the development of the Grasshopper Kiosk,” Kaufman said. “The industry’s current POS systems leave a lot to be desired. These platforms tend to be developed in a vacuum, without input from the end users. We credit collaborating with accomplished industry associates, along with our previous dispensary experience, for the successful development of the Grasshopper solution. We’re looking forward to helping our clients enhance efficiencies and increase margins at the retail level.”
