It’s been long known that cannabis plants are indigenous to Central Asia, but due to new investigations into fossil and pollen samples, researchers have been able to pinpoint that cannabis’s true home is on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, in the general vicinity of Qinghai Lake. . It is believed that cannabis spread westwards from here reaching Russia and Europe by about 6 million years ago. And made its way to eastern China about 1.2 million years ago.? . And NOW- our baby has been reborn!!! L’Chaim to the multi-million year old plant that is frankly, my favorite… sorry lavender, mint, sage, and snapdragons… . #Cannabis #History #Herstory #AncientHerbs #Herbalism #Tibet #Buddha #PlantMedicine #Shamanism #CBD #THC #Marijuana #News #BuddingMind #OneWorldUnderGood . Many cannabis businesses struggle with finding a way to properly and legally bank. Most banks don’t want anything to do with money from the cannabis industry for fear it could expose them to legal trouble from the federal government, which still considers marijuana illegal. . This month attorneys general from 33 states urged Congress to approve a proposal intended to fully open the doors of the U.S. banking system to the legal marijuana industry. . Cali’s own AG Xavier Becerra said it best, “This is simple: not incorporating an $8.3 billion industry into our banking system is hurting our public safety and economy.” . In order for cannabis to be legitimized, business owners need a safe and reliable way to process and house their funds! Frankly, its critical to the progress of industry. But the way I see it, there’s no looking back! The movement only inches forward from here. . #CannabisBanking #PublicBank #CannabisCommunity #Norml #Legalize #Legitimize #Cannabis #Marijuana #CBD #HealingFlower #BuddingMind #OneWorldUnderGood . My babies are all grown up and off to harvest! I imagine this is what my mom felt like when I went away to college— your babe is not gone, but is growing up! Changing form. From roots, to flower, to smoke.? . I am so grateful for this canna-journey! It’s been an eye opening experience… why buy when you can grow your own?! That goes for so many other things we use on the daily. Of course it’s easier said than done, but the first step toward evolution is elevated perspective. Awareness leads to progress leads to growing your own weed. Or something like that.? . Thank you to Baby, Bertha, Mimi, Priya, and Tenney. Mommy loves you so much and I was BLESSED to have you in my presence!! What an experience. And one that I hope to continue for my lifetime.? . Plants are your friends! Cannabis is a gift! Give thanks to the Earth for providing such possibility. We truly are so cared for in so many ways.? . #Cannabis #Marijuana #Motherhood #NewMom #Baby #Farmer #GrowYourOwn #UFOSnotGMOS #BuddingMind #OneWorldUnderGood

According to the CDC 130 Americans die every day from opioid overdoses.⁣ ⁣ A 2014 JAMA International Medicine Paper found that states with medical marijuana laws had nearly 25 percent fewer deaths from opioid overdoses.⁣ ⁣ In 2017, Stanford University researchers tried to replicate JAMA’s findings and actually discovered an unfortunate reverse set of data- that opioid deaths have been on the rise, even in states with medical marijuana.⁣ ⁣ There’s dozens of studies that flip flop between the two possibilities: legal weed reduces opioid deaths, and legal weed has no effect on the opioid crisis.⁣ ⁣ So while today we might say there is no direct relationship between the two… tomorrow is another day… ⁣ ⁣ What this does show is that it’s absolutely insane that there is not a clear answer. If there is any indication that access to medical marijuana can reduce a state’s opioid death count then why wouldn’t we be moving full steam ahead in search of a potential real solution. ⁣ ⁣ 38% of people receive a prescription for opioid each year. America spends $78.5 billion per year on “addressing” the crisis. And 64,000 people lost their lives to opioids.⁣ ⁣ Putting the power of plants back into the hands of the people saves money, could save lives, and ultimately save us from ourselves. ⁣ ⁣ #Legalize #Cannabis #CannabisReformNow #EndTheOpioidCrisis #CDC #CBD #THC #MedicalMarijuana #CannabisHeals #PowerofPlants #BuddingMind #OneWorldUnderGood⁣ ⁣ Artist unknown, please tag in comments!
