Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Honeymoon Destination

The royal wedding is just a couple of weeks away and the world can’t get enough of the details. Now it seems Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s honeymoon destination has been leaked. Several reports regarding the couple’s honeymoon indicate they will be traveling to Namibia for a low-key and intimate getaway.

A source confirmed  the newlyweds have chosen Namibia because the “south-western African nation is filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences.” It also helps that it’s a beautiful place, surrounded by sand-dunes, mountains and huge expanses of desert, and perhaps most importantly — it’s very remote and underpopulated. The Sun reports that Namibia has a population of less than 2.48 million people despite the fact that it’s four times larger than England.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also be staying at Hoanib Valley Camp in Kaokoland, a beautiful camp located in north-western Namibia. This camp is known for having the world’s only giraffe conservation organization.

Prince Harry has traveled to Africa several times in the past, even working there for a period of time while he was serving the army. In 2006 he spent time there with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, in 2008 he stayed in Namibia’s skeleton coast with the army, and in 2015 he worked there in a conservation center in the wilderness.

Later on, Harry decided to propose to Meghan in Botswana in southern Africa, while they were camping. They spent five days together there, which Harry claimed were very important so that they could get to know each other well.
