When you find a five-foot-long gator wandering around in front of a furniture store that sits in front of a lake, you have a few options: You could: A) leave it be, B) put it in a car and drive it around the store to the lake, or B) lead it directly to the lake by taking it through the store on a leash in front of confused and delighted employees. Thankfully for gator-lovers everywhere, Pasco County sheriff’s deputies picked option C last week.

“Come on, little buddy, you’re going to the lake,” one deputy says in a video obtained by the New York Post.
“Just escorting the gator,” he says later as someone–perhaps a store employee–chimes in from the background: “Ha ha, same day delivery!”
Once he was out of the store and by the lake, the gator was clearly relieved.
“Oh, he’s like, “That feels so much better,” the cameraman says. “He’s in heaven, look at him.
Making the story even more perfect: The gator was initially spotted in the store’s parking lot underneath a car with a Florida Gators bumper sticker.
