Meme Of The Week: ‘And I Oop’ Is The Internet’s New Favorite Expression

This meme is ancient in internet years, having made its first appearance in a 2015 video from Jasmine Masters called “Jasmine Masters handle your liquor.”

In it, Masters, a drag queen from “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, advises people on how to handle their liquor. Although the content is valid and very entertaining, the thing that made it go viral doesn’t happen until the very end of the clip, when the now iconic expression is introduced.
