These Boozy Advent Calendars Will Make Your Holiday Season

If this isn’t the definition of a gift that keeps on giving. There are advent calendars filled with booze!

Drinks by the Dram is offering 25 different advent calendars each “filled with 24 different, handmade 30ml wax-sealed drams of the finest spirits from across the globe.”

Do you love whisky, rum, tequila, gin, cognac, absinthe, mezcal, and/or vodka? Do you know someone who does? These advent calendars have a booze for everyone on your holiday list with the exception of your Jagermeister-loving uncle (who you exchange suspicious side-eyes with at all the family gatherings anyway).

Drinks by the Dram has even gone so far as to incorporate a li’l something for the masochist in your life:

Up for a challenge and fancy yourself as a chilli champion? We’ve even partnered with those masochists at The ‘Hot Enough’ Vodka Co. to bring back The Naga Chilli Vodka Escalation Advent Calendar. Dram 1 starts at a mere 10,000 scovilles, ramping up to a truly alarming 240,000 scovilles in time for Christmas Eve! On second thoughts, you may want to forget you ever saw that one…

That sounds super fun.

The average price for one of these advent calendars appears to be around $200. Unless you live in the U.K. where these are sold, you’ll have to settle for Master of Malt.  One of the more expensive calendars, the Very Old & Rare Whisky Advent Calendar, goes for more than $11,000 and allows you to sample whiskies worth up to $25,000 per bottle. Let’s hope the FedEX package doesn’t break en route.
