Famous Dex Spends More Money On Weed Than You Make In A Month

You might think a rapper like Famous Dex can afford expensive habits. With the Hot 100 hit “Pick It Up” and an estimated net worth of $600,000, you can see Dex flaunting his wealth on cars, clothes, and a giant house. None of those, however, amount to the personal expense Dex laments the most.

That would be his weed habit, as the Chicago drill rapper revealed in a recent interview with DJ Smallz. Dex opened up about why he uses cannabis and just how much he spends a month on weed.

“I gotta stop that shit,” Dex said, after explaining he smokes “two, three zips a day.”

When DJ Smallz asked Dex to estimate how much his habit costs him a month, Dex didn’t hide the figures. He says he probably spends five to ten thousand a month on marijuana alone.

“It’s not worth it. I got kids,” Dex replied. He reiterated that his consumption habits doesn’t stop his ability to parent his kids properly, “but at the same time it’s not worth it because that money can go towards a house, it can go towards a building, I can invest that money.”

In fact it was Rich the Kid, whose label Dex is signed to, that advised Dex to “save the money.” The advice led Dex to start considering more investments that could pay off down the road.

However, it’s worth remembering that Rich made headlines recently for announcing he’s hiring two professional blunt rollers. Dex will have to wait for those investments to pan out before he can reach those heights.
