Shia LaBeouf was taken into police custody on July 8th in Savannah, Ga., under the suspicion of obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
According to reports, Shia was arrested outside of his hotel when he became disgruntled after a passerby refused to give him a cigarette.
During his arrest, the actor made startling comments to officers in a expletive-filled rant. In video footage taken from body cameras and recording devices posted at the station, Shia screamed at cops as he was taken to processing.
“I have rights, I’m an American. You’ve got me in my hotel, arresting me in my hotel. For doing what, sir? I’m a f**king American. I pay my taxes,” he yelled.
The actor also allegedly accused the police of being racist, telling one office, “A black man arrested me for being white.”
“You’re going to hell, straight to hell, bro,” he said.
