Even the best laid plans go awry, even if you’re a royal. Meghan Markle was rumored to be preparing for a home birth, but now reports are surfacing that she was instead rushed to the hospital Sunday night by Harry and his security detail.
Why? We don’t know yet. Maybe she was being induced? She was about a week late, after all.
Meghan was taken to a private London hospital, most likely the Portland, according to The Daily Mail, where both Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were born.

The Daily Mail reports that Meghan remained in the hospital overnight before her baby was born at 5:26 a.m. Monday morning and that her stay was so stealth, not even senior royals were informed.
Meanwhile, Harry’s brother William told the press today that he is “absolutely thrilled” over the birth of his first nephew. And said he’s happy to welcome his brother into the “Sleep Deprivation Society.”
