Ryan Seacrest Splits With GF Of Three Years; Lena Dunham Says She’s Happier Than Ever, Shares Lingerie Photo

Shayna Taylor Felt ‘Ready’ to Marry Ryan Seacrest — But He ‘Wasn’t There Yet’

Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor have split — and according to an insider, they weren’t quite on the same page about the timeline of their future.

“After three years together, Shayna wanted more out of the relationship,” a source close to Taylor, 26, tells PEOPLE. “It felt like the natural next step for her. She was ready to get married, but Ryan wasn’t there yet.”

Nevertheless, the source says the two “really are still friendly.”

A second source close to the former couple tells PEOPLE that “Ryan and Shayna have always cared deeply about each other and had and have a wonderful relationship.”

“But it got to a point where it made more sense to break up. It had just run its course,” the source says. “But they are still very close.”

Taylor and Seacrest, 44, had called it quits, with a source calling it an “amicable split.”

After meeting through friends in 2013, the pair soon began dating, and following an initial breakup in late 2014, they rekindled the romance.

“Family is so important to me, and to Shayna as well, but I’ve always tried to put life into a master schedule with deadlines, and I don’t want to do that [with Shayna],” he said. “We both try to actually be in this moment, feel this connection, enjoy it and let it grow.”

Lena Dunham shares lingerie photo, says she’s the heaviest and happiest she’s ever been

The 32-year-old writer, actress and producer shared a photo of herself in lingerie with an intimate message on Tuesday. In it, she described feeling, over the years, like she was “too much” of one thing or another and that she needed to change in order to be accepted.

Now, she’s done with that. Today, Dunham wrote, she weighs, loves, reads and writes more than she ever has in her life, and, as a result, she’s the happiest she’s ever been. She described it as a “big, generous, jiggly happiness.”
