Livestream You Marriage Proposal On YouPorn

Porn sites are down to do anything that increases their traffic, like purchasing Tumblr, or encouraging people to masturbate to save water on Earth Day. Now, want to livestream your marriage proposals on YouPorn, there is a contest for it!

According to Charlie Hughes, vice president of YouPorn, the site wants to take advantage of the current trend of unique proposals, giving interested couples the largest audience available. “What a better way to make your love story truly unique than popping the question in front of the millions of people and on one of the most popular websites in the world?” he said on a press release. Hughes is clearly a romantic.

YouPorn will be conducting a contest called “YouPropose” which begins June 18 and lasts an entire month. In order to be considered for a spot, participants must submit a paragraph “gushing” about their partners and explaining why YouPorn is the best site for their proposal. The winner’s video will be broadcast on the site for 24 hours, ensuring that the proposal will be seen by millions of people from all over the world.

Hughes said that the website is interested in supporting partnerships and that hopefully the winners will be a couple that regularly uploads content on the site, something that makes some sense. I’m sure people who are not involved in the porn industry will not be pleased to get proposed on YouPorn and for that video to be broadcast for an entire day.
