Of German origin, the Affenpinscher is a funny, loyal, human-like toy breed. Standing less than a foot tall and weighing no more than 10 pounds, it’s the breed’s seriousness, sense of purpose and absolute fearlessness that makes them all the more hilarious. Also known as the Affen, the breed is often called the “monkey terrier” and described as ape-ish looking, akin to Star Wars Ewoks and Wookies.
