In order to be irreplaceable, one must be a little different. Of ancient Chinese origin, the Chow Chow is more than a little different. Its fluffy hairdo and scrunched face are immediately noticeable, with both unique traits solidifying the admiration of any dog lover.
While this breed is dignified, serious-minded and arguably the ultimate show-stopper, be careful when approaching the Chow Chow; they’re territorial and very protective of their owner. This being said, owners say the breed is the cleanest of all dogs. So there’s that!
