Could you guess if someone’s underage just by their appearance? In WatchCut‘s latest video, they put five bartenders — whose careers span three week to 40 years — to the test. And the results aren’t too surprising, considering it’s hard to judge someone just by looking at them.
The bartenders say they can usually gauge someone’s age by their mannerisms, appearance, body language, and sixth sense. Of course, it’s easier to see if someone’s being weird, sweaty, jittery, and all those other telltale signs that you’re breaking the law, in an actual bar.
Not to give away the ending, but the moral of this video is an obvious one: don’t judge a book by its cover. And also, kids look really mature thee days.
