For the uninformed, Chia Pets are those kitschy terracotta figurines that were super popular in the 80s. Basically, regardless of how green your thumb is, it was a chance to grow a plant using chia sprouts that would blossom into your favorite animal or pop culture icon. And while Chia Pets have largely gone out of style, their jingle has not. “Ch- ch- chia!”
Lady Gaga, genius actress, singer, and owner of three different Boston terriers, had the best idea for Halloween, dressing up all of her dogs as different Chia Pets and taking amazing pictures of her pet garden. Look at these photos and feel free to cry with us:
“Puppyween” is always better than Halloween, but the bar’s been set sky high with Lady Gaga’s gorgeous dogs. She joined in on the fun, dressing up as a human Chia Pet which she documented on an Instagram story. Now we just have to wait for Chia Pets’ inevitable comeback.
