YouTuber Strictly Dumpling went to Brick Lane Curry House in NYC to take a shot at their phaal, a dish described on the menu as “an excruciatingly hot curry, more pain and sweat than flavor.” What’s not to love? Clearly accustomed to people ordering the dish on a dare, the restaurant requires customers to state a verbal disclaimer to take full responsibility for their dumb decision.
Those who finish the dish get a free bottle of beer and their photo on the (p)hall of fame. Worth it? Not by the looks of this dude, who got punched in the face by Carolina Reaper peppers.
