Due to its sheer size, the Airedale terrier is considered the “King of Terriers”. Standing at around 23 inches at the shoulder, it is the largest of the terrier breeds. The Airedale is an incredibly athletic dog known for its agility and hunting ability, but also as being a great family companion. The Airedale is truly a versatile breed.
