Gossip: RHONY’s Luann de Lesseps And Tom D’Agostino Divorcing After 7 Months; Patti Stanger Says Bethenny Frankel Doesn’t Deserve Love

Luann de Lesseps confirmed on Twitter Thursday that she and her husband of less than one year, Tom D’Agostino, jointly filed for divorce, days after shutting down rumors that their relationship was in trouble.

“It’s with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce,” she posted. “We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!”

The reason for the move to Splitsville was not revealed.

“Tom and I are in love, and marriage takes work,” the 52-year-old “Real Housewives of New York” star said in a statement to People on July 17. “We are working on this together.”

One of Luann’s fellow housewives, Sonja Morgan, revealed in an episode that she had previously hooked up with D’Agostino before the pair’s engagement. D’Agostino, the CEO of Smart Source, also dated “RHONY” cast member Ramona Singer.
