If you’re a fan of “Charlotte’s Web,” you’ll be thrilled to hear there’s a sequel! Templeton moves to Germany, carbs up on pretzels and beer, and gets stuck in a manhole cover when he tries to escape his sewer home, presumably to eat more.
The ending is a real tear-jerker. The fire department comes to his rescue and saves his chubby ass.

“Even animals that are hated by many deserve respect,” animal rescuer Michael Sehr told a local media outlet.
Okay, so this isn’t a real movie, but it should be!! Because this story actually happened in the German town of Bensheimon on Sunday. The animal rescue in Rhein Neckar posted it on their Facebook.
According to the BBC, it took a team of firefighters to lift the manhole cover and prop it up on wedges while Mr. Sehr managed to “pop the rotund rat free.”
The BBC also reports that the rat is doing just fine and that “she was released straight back into the sewer – but not before some close-up photographs were snapped.”
Wait, Templeton is a she now? This changes the plot line completely.
