But now one former baseball star could be brewing up trouble in paradise. Jose Canseco raised eyebrows on Sunday after he claimed that Rodriguez cheated on Lopez with his ex-wife Jessica Canseco.

Canseco began tweeting about the alleged affair while ‘watching World of Dance’, an NBC reality show in which Lopez is a judge.

‘Watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez, little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica,’ Canesco tweeted. ‘Poor girl, she has no idea who he really is.’

Canseco then said he was ‘there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone’, seemingly referring to Rodriguez and Jessica.

‘Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of s**t stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez, he added. Canseco later said he was willing to take a polygraph test to prove that what he was saying about Rodriguez was ‘100 percent accurate’.

Roseanne Barr says Michelle Obama got her fired for racist tweet

Roseanne Barr believes former first lady Michelle Obama is responsible for getting her fired from her eponymous ABC reboot.

The hit reboot of “Roseanne” was famously canceled in May 2018 after Barr, 66, posted a series of allegedly racist, Islamophobic and anti-Semitic tweets, including one saying that former President Barack Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to someone from “Planet of the Apes” and the Islamic Brotherhood.

Barr initially took responsibility for the remark, which she has alternately blamed on using Ambien and supporting President Donald Trump, but now she believes the former first lady is behind her getting the reboot boot.

“She said, ‘This tweet is unforgivable.’ That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix,” Barr fumed to The Sunday Times (via The Sun). Barr appeared to be referring to Channing Dungey, the former ABC Entertainment president responsible for canceling “Roseanne.” Netflix hired her late last year to work on original programming, including content from the Obamas’ Higher Ground Productions.

In late May 2018, Barr retweeted a fan who claimed that the Obamas were behind her firing, though she never said so herself until this week. She replied to the tweet at the time, “Is this true?”

The claim has never actually been substantiated.

The comedian also expressed outrage at ABC still using her characters in “Roseanne” spinoff “The Conners,” in which her character was killed off in an opioid overdose.

In June 2018, Barr said in a statement that she accepted a settlement and to be removed to make way for “The Conners,” telling press, “I regret the circumstances that have caused me to be removed from ‘Roseanne.’ I agreed to the settlement in order that 200 jobs of beloved cast and crew could be saved, and I wish the best for everyone involved.”

“They think because they killed me it’s OK to use me, use the memory of me,” she fumed to The Times. “Still mention me. It’s still my show, but they stole it. They are going to do it to other comics. I’m just the first.”

Gwyneth Paltrow makes ‘SNL’ cameo, spoofs herself and Goop

Gwyneth Paltrow made a surprise cameo on this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” – and the jokes were all on her.

During an appearance in the Weekend Update sketch, the actress and wellness guru played a manager of her lifestyle company Goop, who reassures a fellow employee (played by Heidi Gardner) that she wouldn’t get fired after messing up while talking about the brand’s products.

“I need your help, because I’m really afraid Gwyneth’s going to fire me,” Gardner says to Paltrow.

RELATED: Gwyneth Paltrow Has Been Smoking Weed This Whole Time

“No, she doesn’t believe in firing, remember? It’s called conscious un-employing,” Paltrow reassures her, referencing her 2014 split from Chris Martin, which was described as a “conscious uncoupling.”

Paltrow tries to help out by taking over Gardner’s job of describing the products.

“OK, we have a new Himalayan salt scrub and it is the number one salt scrub … rated number one in overall salt,” she says, slowing down as she struggles for what else to say about the product. “I’d actually like to tell you what salt is instead.”

“I know what salt is,” Michael Che retorts.

“So you know it’s angry sugar?” Paltrow replies.

How To Fall Asleep Listening To Your iPhone Without Draining The Battery

If you’re the type of person who loves to fall asleep while listening to a perfect sleepytime playlist, you’re not alone. According to studies, music enhances activities like sleep and workouts, especially if the beat matches the mood you’re looking for.

The problem with sleeping while listening to music is that leaving a playlist running for more than three hours is not good for your phone’s battery and general well-being. Luckily, there’s a hack that allows your phone to stop playing music without needing your intervention, saving you some battery life and giving you and your iPhone a much needed rest.

RELATED: 5 Of Apple’s Most Popular Products Were Developed By Other Companies

To get started, select the music or playlist you want to listen to, whether it’s from Apple Music, Beats 1 radio or Spotify. Once you’ve done this, tap on the clock app on your home screen. Here, you’ll see several functions at the bottom of the screen. Select the Timer function and set it to the approximate amount of time it’ll take you to sleep, be that 20 minutes or 40. Select the When Timer Ends function, which will take you to another screen that contains your phone’s ringtones. Scroll to the bottom of it and select Stop Playing.

This method ensures that the music you chose will play until your timer expires, hopefully saving you the trouble of an overheated phone, or the stress of waking up to a random rock song because you managed to sleep through your entire sleep playlist.

This Is How Much Time The Average Millionaire Spends On Social Media

Besides making more money than the average person, millionaires incorporate daily habits into their lives that make them more productive.  While some of us prefer sleep over morning gym sessions, those who prioritize mental and physical well-being tend to be in a higher income bracket. Coincidence?

Sarah Stanley Fallaw,  author of the book “The Next Millionaire Next Door: Enduring Strategies for Building Wealth,”  surveyed more than 600 millionaires in America, and found that their daily activities can influence their wealth.

Business Insider dug through Fallaw’s book and discovered a few choice statistics that can benefit all of us.

RELATED: Mark Wahlberg Reveals His Insane Schedule And Social Media Has Questions

While the average American spends 14 hours a week on social media, millionaires spends an average of only 2.5 hours a week, which gives them more time to exercise both their minds and bodies.

Fallaw says that millionaires spend roughly 5.5  hours a week reading for pleasure, compared to just 2 for the average American.  The same stats are nearly identical when it comes to exercise, with millionaires working up a sweat for nearly 6 hours a week compared to 2.5 for that average Joe.

Apple CEO Tim Cook gets out of bed at 4:30 a.m. to go to the gym.  Think about that next time you want to hit the snooze button (on your iPhone).

And because they spend more time reading and exercising, they have very little time left over to “like” Instagram posts or stalk their ex’s Facebook.

RELATED: 3 Business Icons Share Their Coolest One-Minute Life Hacks

Lots of millionaires don’t even engage in social media. Jennifer Lawrence has said that she “will never get Twitter.” And George Clooney says he’d “rather have a rectal examination on live TV by a fellow with cold hands than have a Facebook page.”

Warren Buffett still uses a flip phone, which makes it nearly impossible to mindlessly scroll through feeds.

And while they do shun social media in favor of other wealth-building habits, many millionaires sacrifice sleep in favor of the hustle. Elon Musk gets about 6 hours of sleep a night, Tom Ford says he only gets about 3 hours, and Martha Stewart manages on less than 4 hours a night.

Maybe what these millionaires need is not so much social media on their phones, but rather some helpful mediation apps.

This Week’s Music: Kindness, Marina, And Tindersticks Release New Songs

This Week’s Music is a weekly column that discusses the weeks’ best, worst, and most interesting songs. We try to select songs of different artists and genres to keep things interesting and to please a variety of music fans.

This week we highlight Kindness’ new collaboration with Robyn, Marina’s new single from her awaited fourth studio album, and Tinderstick’s song for the movie “High Life”. Check them out:

Electronic

Kindness – Cry Everything

Kindness and Robyn fit perfectly together. Adam Bainbridge, the guy behind Kindness, is a DJ and musician who’s produced a lot of music, including some songs in Solange’s last record and two songs from Robyn’s last album. “Cry Everything” is his first song since 2014, and it’s a sort of meeting point between his own voice and Robyn’s. Out of all the great things that “Cry Everything” is doing, the most striking aspect is the union of both performers’ voices, which linger more than all of those amazing and intricate layers of sound.

Pop

MARINA – Superstar

RELATED: This Week’s Music: Jonas Brothers, Carly Rae Jepsen And Solange Release New Songs

Marina, also known as Marina And the Diamonds, is back with a new record after a four year break. Love + Fear will be released on April 26 and two singles have already been published. “Handmade Heaven” and “Superstar” are vastly different, with the former promising an interesting and thoughtful record while the latter is kind of forgettable. Marina is a tough artist to categorize, someone who uses her bubblegum pop sound and aesthetic to discuss darker and more interesting topics. “Superstar” feels a little bit been there, done that, especially after listening to some of her best work.

Tindersticks – Willow (Featuring Robert Pattinson)

If you weren’t a devoted fan of the Twilight Saga and its iconic soundtracks, you might not know the fact that Robert Pattinson is also a singer. His voice isn’t the most versatile but it works when it comes to evoking a mood or a vibe, which is just what he does on “Willow.” The song is part of the soundtrack from “High Life”,  one of the most anticipated films of the year and, according to many critics, one of the best sci-fi films ever made. Pattinson stars as an astronaut and Juliette Binoche co-stars as a witchy looking crazy scientist. Things get weird in space and there are some babies involved. “Willow” may be a little bit of a snooze, but you have to appreciate it once you know all of this background information.

3 Tips For Effectively Washing Your Workout Clothes

Athletic apparel can be super expensive, which is ironic, because they also need to be replaced every so often (depending on how much you work out).  Aside from the fact that you sweat a lot in them, performance workout wear is often made out of moisture-wicking material. These fabrics allow you to be comfortable and dry while working out because they remove the sweat from your skin and keep you cool. The trade-off is that the fabric latches on to your body oils, which are the reason behind the bad smell.

If you leave your clothes for long periods of time in dark places, like lockers and gym bags, then that’s just a recipe for disaster. This type of lazy storage allows your germs to proliferate and go crazy. Here are four tips that can help you clean your clothes and extend their shelf life.

Wash in cold water

RELATED: Study: Fast Food Has Actually Gotten Worse For Your Health

Hot water traps smells and bacteria, so it’s best if you wash these types of clothes with cool water. “Body soils can become trapped in these grooves, making them even more difficult to remove. That is why odors are a common problem with performance fabrics,” says Mary Johnson, scientist from Procter and Gamble.

Use the right detergent

https://giphy.com/gifs/thehills-3orifigd00GZHoGHKw

Did you know that there are detergents for workout clothes? Yup, products like WIN and Soak are specially designed to treat body oils and sweat, unlike traditional detergents that focus on simpler tasks. Aside from using the right detergent, it’s also important to do your laundry regularly, since this will prevent the smells from latching on to the clothes.

Alternate gym clothes

RELATED: Why Sleeping In On Weekends May Offer No Benefits

It’s important to let your clothes rest and to alternate them. Using different sports bras and shirts will also increase their shelf life and prevent stretching.

Don’t leave sweaty clothes piled up overnight

https://giphy.com/gifs/human-stink-stinky-gw3wGdPz8zsN2x56

Keeping sweaty clothes balled up in a bag, inside a locker or even in your laundry basket for long periods of time will trap odors. It’s important to hang them to dry once you’re done working out, and to rinse them as soon as you get the chance.

Kick Coffee Time Up A Notch With Cannabis Infused Pistachio Biscotti

Biscotti is sorely underrated. This twice baked, biscuit-like cookie was a staple of my childhood, found at every family gathering, served with coffee and other desserts. One reason it likely dropped in popularity, besides the Stella D’Oro labor scandal, is that it’s not made by indie operations anymore, and mass produced doesn’t always taste as good, especially in the realm of Italian food.

Considering how simple biscotti are to make compared to other more complex Italian pastries, it should be everywhere! It’s baked and sliced versus shaped, piped, or rolled like more difficult items. They’re a cookie/cake hybrid, and if you let them dehydrate completely, their unforgettable crunch makes your caffeine break exponentially better. It doesn’t take much explaining to see why having some cannabis in this mix would also be a great daily dose — cookies are among the most popular edibles.

Pistachio Biscotti

Recipe adapted from Genius Kitchen

Estimated 14mg of THC per cookie

Ingredients

3 c Flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ c brown sugar

½ c confectioners sugar

½  stick of unsalted butter, softened

4 Tbsp cannabutter*

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp almond extract

Rind of ½ lime

1 cup pistachios

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and set up your workstation. Cream the butters and sugar together in a bowl with either an electric mixer or a wooden spoon. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.

Stir in the zest and extracts into the butter mixture, and mix in one egg at a time, without overwhipping. Fold in the dry ingredients and continue until a sticky dough forms. Add the nuts and use either your hands or a wide spatula to do the a final fold, incorporating the nuts into the dough without kneading it too stiffly.

Roll out on a baking mat or parchment into a log that’s roughly 4 inches wide, it will spread a bit more after the first bake. Place the mat on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes, rotating halfway through.

Remove from the oven and allow the log to cool for 30 minutes. Slice on a sharp diagonal into a ½” strips, then arrange back on the cookie sheet. Bake these pieces for an additional 10 minutes, turning once.

Allow to cool overnight before sealing in a container, this will allow them to dry and harden much better, but if you want a hint of moisture, seal up right away after they’ve cooled. Serve with coffee, tea, or improve any dessert spread with these beauties.

*Cannabutter

Decarboxylate 2 grams of finely ground cannabis or .25 gram of concentrate. Put material in lidded mason jar or vacuum sealed bag with cannabis and one stick of butter. Heat in water bath just under boiling for at least 1 hour. Strain and cool to use in recipes.

Meme Of The Week: Ellen DeGeneres Goes Dark On This Week’s Most Popular Meme

Daytime shows pride themselves on giving people free stuff and no one does this better than Ellen DeGeneres. The lovable talk show host doles out presents to audience members that are as simple as books and as luxurious as a million dollars (split between everyone, of course).

This week’s meme has no clear origin, but it pokes fun at the fact that when you go to an “Ellen” taping, you’ll likely meet your hero, leave with an unexpected present, or be scared to death by a someone wearing a clown costume. The first version of the meme, developed by Twitter user @cavedevice, set the dark tone of the joke.

Other Twitter users expanded on the joke, adding their own twists and personal takes, but keeping the dark and depressing humor of the original format. It’s 2019 and the overall feeling of this meme is that no one has time to be cute and hopeful right now. Check out some of the standout tweets:

Bipartisan Legislators Introduce Federal Marijuana Decriminalization Bill

Ever since the Democrats took back control of the U.S. House of Representative, there has been a lot of talk about how 2019 is going to be the year that federal marijuana prohibition comes to an end. The idea is that with donkey-eared domination in the lower chamber, pot reform measures will have no issue finding the necessary votes when it comes time to push them through. It is for this reason that federal lawmakers are using every opportunity to drag cannabis legislation to the steps of the Capitol. The latest effort would legalize marijuana nationwide once and for all.

Earlier this week, Representatives Tulsi Gabbard and Don Young introduced a measure entitled the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2019, which would eliminate the cannabis plant from the confines of the Controlled Substances Act and give states the right to legalize the leaf however they see fit without concern about federal backlash. It is a push that would allow cannabis products to become a part of American commerce in the same way as alcohol and tobacco.

RELATED: Is FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb’s Resignation Good Or Bad For Marijuana?

Rather than focusing solely on the economic benefits of the bill, lawmakers say it is more about bringing an end to the failed War on Drugs.

“Our archaic marijuana policies — based on stigma and outdated myths — have been used to wage a failed War on Drugs. Families have been torn apart, communities left fractured, and over-criminalization and mass incarceration have become the norm,” Gabbard said during a press conference. “In 2017 alone, our country arrested 600,000 people just for possession of marijuana. Our bipartisan legislation takes a step toward ending the failed war on drugs, ending the federal prohibition on marijuana, and ensuring that our policies are guided by facts and the truth.”

Still, this is America and the freedom to engage in capitalistic endeavors without the threat of raids and prison is what it is all about, according to Young. He says it is insane that we have a multi-billion dollar industry operating in a number of states that cannot so much as get a bank account. Meanwhile, the IRS isn’t letting them off the hook. Most companies are forced to pay in upwards of 75 percent on their income.

Ending federal marijuana prohibition would allow these weed businesses to operate the same as any other.

“For too long, the federal government has stood in the way of states that have acted to set their own marijuana policy, and it is long past time Congress modernized these outdated laws,” he told reporters.

In addition, the two lawmakers introduced a separate bill called the Marijuana Data Collection Act, which “will allow us the opportunity to make sure we are governed by the truth and facts and not misinformation and lies,” Gabbard said. The measure would monitor the outcome of statewide legalization matters, and cut the head off the propaganda machine that has been keeping the issue buried for so many years.

RELATED: How Would Whole Foods Selling Marijuana Impact The Industry?

But lawmakers can introduce bills all day long, it still doesn’t mean that 2019 is going to live up to the hype when it comes to marijuana reform.

Although the House is set up to support these bills, the Senate is still not entirely on board. The biggest obstacle could be Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who still opposes nationwide legalization. And he’s a hellion when it comes to getting his way. Just this week, McConnell stopped a measure designed to expand voting rights because “I get to decide what we vote on,” he said. With this bullish attitude standing in the way, legal weed doesn’t stand a chance.

What’s Really Going On With Brad And Jen?; Alicia Keys Might Be Getting Her Own Talk Show

Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt ‘are still in touch & speak’ but there’s nothing romantic

Still a flame there? Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are not letting their reconnection go to waste, though a reconciliation is not in the cards as of now.

“Jen and Brad are still in touch and speak, but there still isn’t anything going on romantically between them,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively. The insider adds that Aniston “is also in touch with Brad’s mom,” noting that the women “are close and have been for a while.”

The Friends alum, 50, and Pitt, 55, made headlines in February when he was unexpectedly spotted at her birthday party in Los Angeles. “Jen spoke to Brad briefly. At one point she hugged him and thanked him for coming. … It didn’t seem like that big of a deal to Jen,” a source revealed to Us at the time. “The invite went out to a ton of people and he accepted. She was happy he was there, but that was it. She was busy making the rounds and excited to see so many people near and dear to her.”

The Fight Club star “didn’t stay all that long and ducked out before most people,” according to the insider.

The Alicia Keys Talk Show – EXCLUSIVE

CBS and The Recording Academyª announced today that 15-time GRAMMY Award¨ winner Alicia Keys will host the 61ST ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, marking her first year as master of ceremonies for Music’s Biggest Night¨. The 61ST ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS will be broadcast live from STAPLES CENTER in Los Angeles Sunday, Feb. 10 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/5:00-8:30 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network. After doing an amazing job at the Grammy’s we might have another mentor from ‘The Voice,’ getting her own talk-show like Kelly Clarkson – that would be Alicia Keys.

“Alicia dazzled TV executives with the job she did hosting the Grammys. No-one knew she could do that. She is often thought of as just a brilliant musician and several CBS insiders were nervous that Keys wouldn’t have enough energy to host a TV show, but they all now admit that they were wrong,” sources tell STRAIGHT SHUTER. “Several networks are interested in Alicia and looking to do a show based around music and musicians rather than a traditional ‘Ellen’ type talk-show.”

Corey Feldman backtracks on Michael Jackson support

Corey Feldman is clarifying his statements from earlier this week that seemed to defend Michael Jackson.

Like many people, the Lost Boys star tuned in to watch HBO’s controversial documentary Leaving Neverland, which details disturbing claims made by James Safechuck and Wade Robson that Jackson sexually abused them for years as children. Feldman, who has said he was sexually abused by people in the industry as a child, appeared on HLN Wednesday explaining this has been “a very emotional time for me.”

“I ask people to put themselves in my shoes,” he began. “You’re a kid who has endured sexual abuse and during those times, I’m looking to somebody like Michael Jackson as a friend, as a big brother figure. And he was that person to me.”

The 47-year-old actor and activist continued, “However, as you’re friends with this guy, all of a sudden you start to hear more and more accusations being thrown around by various people and it comes to a point where — as an advocate for victims, as an advocate for changing the statutes of limitations to make sure victims voices are heard — it becomes impossible for me to remain virtuous and not at least consider what’s being said and not listen to what the victims are saying.”

Feldman said it is “important” that people give Safechuck and Robson a “voice.”

“We must allow them to speak and therefore, we must consider all sides of this, even as uncomfortable as that might be,” he explained.

One thing Feldman isn’t backtracking on is the nature of his relationship with the iconic singer. “Absolutely nothing inappropriate ever happened,” he maintained. “We were friends.”

How Cannabis Already Proved It’s The Next Great American Industry

If you work in cannabis, you’re part of the next great American industry. And if you need a job, or you just want a change in work scenery, there’s no other industry with as much growth and opportunity as those you can find in cannabis.

This is all according to a new exhaustive report from Leafly and the private firm Whitney Economics. The report concluded that by the end of 2018, there were 211,000 full-time workers in the cannabis industry spanning both the medical and adult-use side of things, with more expected growth to come.

“By comparison, there are currently about 52,000 coal mining jobs in the United States,” reads the report. “American beer makers employ 69,000 brewery workers. And 112,000 people work in textile manufacturing.”

RELATED: Report: Cannabis Industry Experiencing Hiring Frenzy

One dilemma researchers ran into while crunching numbers was the U.S. Department of Labor doesn’t track cannabis jobs due to marijuana being illegal on the federal level. Instead they utilized “state-reported data, industry surveys, on-the-ground reporting, Leafly’s proprietary data, and economic formulas devised by Leafly and Whitney Economics” to construct a representative picture of the cannabis industry.

The report also found that 68,000 new jobs were added in the cannabis industry in 2018. Researchers expect another 40,000 legal marijuana jobs to come in 2019 alone, which would account for 110% total jobs increase since 2017 alone. In 2018, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Nevada made up the largest jumps in jobs while researchers believe Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Florida, Arkansas, and California, Massachusetts will see the biggest leaps in 2019.

“The numbers we’ve discovered lead to one inevitable conclusion: We are witnessing the birth of the next great American industry,” reads the report.
