Meghan Markle Steps Out Wearing Prince Harry’s Clothes; Are Angelina Jolie And Colin Farrell Back On?

Angelina Jolie & Colin Farrell’s Red-Hot Flirtation!

Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell have reconnected in Los Angeles – and RadarOnline.com has learned the two are flirting with rekindling their romance!

“They’ve come such a long way since the wild old days when they last hooked up” while filming Alexander together in 2004, an insider told Radar, explaining, “Colin’s a changed man — more into clean-living and charity than anything else, plus he’s a doting dad” to his two sons James, 15, and Henry, 9.

And while the insider noted 42-year-old actor is “very private with his love life” and had been seeing Kelly McNamara on and off for a few years, single 43-year-old Jolie is “determined to explore their connection further and would date him in a heartbeat.”

“She usually gets what she wants and there’s no denying they have a major chemistry,” said the source.

And, pointed out the insider, it’s likely no coincidence that Jolie happened to attend the world premiere of Farrell’s new movie Dumbo with four of her kids — Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox — on Mar. 11.

Introducing Wilson, the 51-year-old said, “I have been lucky enough to know her long enough to learn things that we have in common: devotion to our mothers, endless joy of our families, super hot husbands.”

Turning to Hanks, Roberts joked, “Yeah, ‘super hot,’ Tom. Yeah, I said it. Now everybody knows.”

Royal family fans were quick to notice that Meghan Markle had seemingly borrowed an old jacket from husband Prince Harry to cover her baby bump.

The pregnant Duchess looked cool and casual in blue skinny jeans, a retro Sixteen Candles tee, and Harry’s own oversized khaki jacket. Pretty cute, huh?

Best Dry Herb Vapes For Beginners

Though many young smokers have retired their dry herb vapes in favor of oil carts, there’s something about vaping flower that simply can’t be replicated. For those who aren’t familiar, dry herb vapes guarantee a cleaner and safer smoking experience via either conduction or convection heating. There’s much debate over which of the two types is better, but the truth is that each type has its own unique benefits.

Convection vaporizers heat the material by passing heated air through the chamber and generally require less herb. They offer advanced temperature settings and better tasting hits, but tend to be more expensive and a bit harder to use. Conduction vaporizers heat your material via direct contact with the heat source. They offer simplicity, affordability, and fast heating, but tend to require more herb and provide harsher hits. Regardless of which type you choose, these are great options for beginners looking to break into the vape game.

Your Favorite ‘Game Of Thrones’ Couple Says A Lot About Your Dating Habits

In light of “Game of Thrones'” final season, OKCupid has added a GoT badge feature which allows fans of the show to wear them proudly in order to show off their obsession and potentially scare off potential mates. OKCupid conducted different surveys that say that users’ opinions of the show are telling of their online dating history and preferences.

RELATED: Has ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finally Jumped The Shark?

Mashable reports that in order to gather this information OKCupid asked users questions related to Game of Thrones. They found that the show makes an appearance on over 2 million user profiles, and that over 300,000 people engaged with GoT questions on the sites’ mandatory surveys. This information was then cross referenced with users profiles in order to find some pretty interesting connections.

Among the results, people who shipped Jon and Ygritte tended to be men while people who rooted for Daenarys and Khal Drogo tended to be women. For some reason, the option to choose the main couple of the show, Jon and Daenarys, wasn’t available. Maybe OKCupid wanted to keep things simple and didn’t want to factor in incest.

RELATED: All We Know About ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8

Daenerys and Drogo shippers were more likely to have one night stands and to split payments evenly. How does OKCupid even know this? We don’t know. These people were also more likely to believe in astrology and they were less combative than believers of Jon and Ygritte. People who shipped Tormund and Brienne were more likely to challenge gender roles, which makes a lot of sense. The poll also got involved with some politics, claiming that Pro-Trump users tended to root for the Lannisters while those who wanted Daenarys and Jon to win tended to be Anti-Trump.

No matter your Game of Thrones‘ preferences, all true fans of the show know that the program isn’t the most romantic. Also that alarm bells should ring whenever weddings are mentioned.

Brexit Fallout: British Nationals Banned From Amsterdam’s Cannabis Coffee Shops

While far from the most devastating consequences of Brexit, Amsterdam officials have announced that British nationals will be banned from the city’s infamous cannabis coffee shops when Britain leaves the European Union. Brits could also face punishment should they purchase marijuana on the black market, reports Dutch News.

Any such drug tourism made possible by the EU’s freedom of movement rules will likely vanish for British visitors.

“When British nationals are no longer European, they will not be able to use coffee shops,” spokesman for the city council Bas‘t Aard told Dutch News. “We will roll up a massive cross-media campaign to make them aware of the fact as soon as Brexit happens.”

RELATED: Combining Seattle’s Coffee And Cannabis Cultures Into One Shop

It appears EU officials are serious about enforcing the ban as well. Mary Jaine, a senior researcher on drugs policy in the European Union, said “the EU is considering placing portable urinals alongside passport queues so that Brits can be drug tested on entry and exit.”

Unfortunately it looks like British nationals won’t be able to fight back either. As fallout from Brexit, Brits have little legal authority to call these rules into question.

“On the face of it, they would appear to have a prima facie case under Article 2 of Protocol no. 4 to the European Convention on Human Rights which guarantees freedom of movement, but they’ve kind of scunnered themselves on that one, haven’t they?” lawyer Tjerk Meier-Kok told Dutch News.

Brits won’t be the only ones that will suffer from the ban as well. Amsterdam cannabis coffee shop owners could see their businesses fold from the lack of British consumers.

“The Brits accounted for at least 60% of all our customers,” said Wiett Pot, spokesman for the city’s coffee shop association. “This will have blowback throughout the weed industry.”

What MedMen’s Financial Woes Means For The Cannabis Industry

While MedMen is considered one of the largest retail marijuana chains in the United States, it’s financial problems, as of late, ones that have forced the company to secure hundreds of millions in credit to stay afloat should perhaps be a warning sign for others looking to jump inside the cannabis trade. Because though it is true that business of growing and selling weed is making some impressive strides, the laws and regulations behind it can prove challenging for shallow pockets.

Some of the latest financial reports show that MedMen is now worth $1.6 billion, as opposed to $3 billion in 2018. This is at a time when the cannabis industry is supposed to be booming in more than half the nation for recreational and medicinal use. But high taxes and restrictions on dispensaries are creating a situation where companies like MedMen are losing money to the black market. This is especially true in California, where MedMen is headquartered and operates several locations.

RELATED: MedMen Faces New Lawsuit From Former CFO James Parker

A report from CNBC shows that MedMen lost $131 million during the last six months of 2018. This means the company lost $2 for every dollar of marijuana sold. But the average person wouldn’t notice that the company is swimming upstream by the illusion it puts on with its storefronts and advertising designed to change the stoner stereotypes and attract new and improved customers. MedMed has spent buku bucks trying to convince America that people who smoke marijuana are not the same longhaired, tie-dye shirt wearing, hippie class it has been for the past several decades.

But Medmen is struggling to be the kind of cannabis company it wants to be. “At our current operating level, we will not have sufficient funds generated from operations to cover our short-term and long-term operational needs,” reads a financial report that was released at the end of February 2019.

Some of the company’s problems are not at all related to the cannabis market but stem from the operations itself. It was just earlier this year that Medmen’ CFO, James Parker, was named in a lawsuit which alleged racism. The allegation prompted the New York Cannabis Industry Association (NYMCIA) to sever ties with the company.

There have also been some additional complaints filed, some of which allege the company has run schemes to keep stock prices up.

However, one of the most significant problems MedMen has faced is competing with black market marijuana. Although a taxed and regulated system is supposed to eliminate black market dealings, the high cost of the legal stuff still keeps a substantial amount of customers frequenting the underground.

“The unlicensed market continues to flourish, due in part to the competitive financial advantage such operations have over legal cannabis businesses,” California’s cannabis officials wrote in a report published last year.

RELATED: MedMen Just Got Closer To Becoming ‘The Apple Store Of Weed’

Shockingly, 80 percent of California’s cannabis sales are still done in the black market. Customers “took a look at product prices, especially the heavy using, long-time consumer, and they said, ‘I know what the right price is, and that ain’t it.’,” said Tom Adams, managing director of industry analytics for BDS Analytics.

Medmen is still struggling to attract enough customers to cover its bottom line. All of those “new” cannabis consumers with the high-paying jobs and $50 haircuts that the company has been working so hard to charm seems to be more wishful thinking than reality. In fact, a report published last year by New Frontier Data and MJ Freeway shows that the largest customer base for weed purchases have lower incomes. It indicates that those cannabis customers which present the most significant opportunity for the cannabis industry—young, employed, high salaries—represent only 10 percent of the current spending.

Perhaps it’s time for cannabis companies to start marketing to stoners.

The ad looks great, including different expert interviews and developers discussing the origins and design of the program. The one thing that raises a few questions is the fact that you can only speak to tulips. Why can’t you talk to other types of flowers? What’s up with that Google?

A Tinder feature that prevents lies

It’s a well known fact that men love to lie about their height, so Tinder, or April Fools’ Tinder, is taking measures against this and focusing on the well being of their matches.

Liam Neeson Finally Apologized For His Racist Story; Duchess Meghan Spent Half A Million Dollars On Maternity Clothes

Liam Neeson finally apologized for his racist story: ‘I missed the point’

Weeks after generating controversy for discussing a past event in which he wanted to bait a black man into fighting him to avenge a recently raped friend, Liam Neeson has released an apology for the remarks.

“Over the last several weeks, I have reflected on and spoken to a variety of people who were hurt by my impulsive recounting of a brutal rape of a dear female friend nearly 40 years ago and my unacceptable thoughts and actions at that time in response to this crime. The horror of what happened to my friend ignited irrational thoughts that do not represent the person I am. In trying to explain those feelings today, I missed the point and hurt many people at a time when language is so often weaponized and an entire community of innocent people are targeted in acts of rage. What I failed to realize is that this is not about justifying my anger all those years ago, it is also about the impact my words have today. I was wrong to do what I did. I recognize that, although the comments I made do not reflect, in any way, my true feelings nor me, they were hurtful and divisive. I profoundly apologize.”

Duchess Meghan spent half a million dollars on maternity clothes

The Duchess of Sussex has been a style influencer since her Hollywood days, but the “Meghan effect” became even stronger after she became a royal. The fashion-loving royal has showcased designs from some of her favorite labels, including her bespoke Givenchy dresses, but she has also thrown in some more attainable picks. Cannabis Kale Chips: The Perfect Munchie, Handfuls At A Time

Kale chips: so 2013, right? But even if you think that kale has jumped the shark, I’ve got just the thing to bring you back on board: cannabis kale chips.

These cannabis kale chips have got what it takes to become your next snack addiction. Kale provides the element of trendy clean eating; salt and fat provide the satisfying snack-y aspect; cannabis makes them extra-enjoyable and fun to share with friends.

Oh, and they’re incredibly easy to make! Provided you have a bunch of kale and some cannabutter and salt, you could be snacking on these babies in less than 20 minutes.

Cannabis Kale Chips

3-4 servings (see recipe notes)

  • 1 bunch kale (see recipe notes), washed and completely dried
  • 1 Tablespoon cannabutter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: spices or seasonings of your choice

Procedure:

1. Position a rack in the middle position of your oven. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Photos by Jessie Moore

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Photos by Jessie Moore

3. Melt the cannabutter. I don’t have a microwave, so the way I do this is to put it in a heat-safe ramekin and just pop it in the oven while it preheats; it melts in about a minute.

Photos by Jessie Moore

4. Cut off the stalks from your kale, and tear the leaves into portions which are roughly double the size of a tortilla chip. They’ll shrink considerably in the oven, so make the torn portions a little bigger than you want your finished chips.

RELATED: 5 Ways To Utilize Leftover Marijuana Pulp From Cannabutter

5. Scatter the kale on your prepared baking sheet, trying to keep things in a single layer. Drizzle the cannabutter over the leaves. You can add additional (non-cannabis) melted butter or olive oil if you’re not satisfied with the coverage.

Photos by Jessie Moore

6. Now, this step might seem fussy but you’ll be glad you did it. Pick up each portion of kale and use your fingers to massage the cannabutter into each portion. This will ensure even coverage, as well as a crispier/superior finished texture. Sprinkle with salt, to taste.

Photos by Jessie Moore

7. Place the sheet tray into the preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until browned but not burnt. Remove from the oven and place the entire sheet tray on a wire rack to cool. The kale will crisp further as it cools. To keep the kale crispy, store leftovers in a single layer, loosely covered. Don’t store in an airtight container as this will cause them to lose their crunch.

Recipe notes

What’s the dosage?

I “dosed” this recipe with 1 teaspoon of cannabutter per serving (3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon). The strength of your finished product will depend on many factors, including the type of marijuana you used and how you made your cannabutter. For more tips on proper dosage, visit this post.

What type of kale should I use?

You can use any type of kale for this recipe. I prefer curly kale because you get lots of crunchy bits on the finished chips.

What are some cannabutter alternatives?

For this recipe, I actually used cannabis coconut oil. You could use traditional cannabutter or cannabis olive oil as well.

Photos by Jessie Moore

What added spices can I use?

On a different batch of these chips (not pictured), I added chili powder and grated parmesan cheese. Both additions were good decisions. Add whatever spices or flavorings you like to these chips; experiment and see what you like best!

How To Distinguish A Psychopath From A ‘Shy-chopath’

What makes a criminal a psychopath?

Their grisly deeds and commanding presence attract our attention – look no further than Ted Bundy, the subject of a recent Netflix documentary, and cult leaders like Charles Manson.

But despite years of theorizing and research, the mental health field continues to hotly debate what are the defining features of this diagnosis. It might come as a surprise that the most widely used psychiatric diagnostic system in the U.S., the DSM-5, doesn’t include psychopathy as a formal disorder.

As a personality researcher and forensic psychologist, I’ve spent the last quarter-century studying psychopaths inside and outside of prisons. I’ve also debated what, exactly, are the defining features of psychopathy.

Most agree that psychopaths are remorseless people who lack empathy for others. But in recent years, much of this debate has centered on the relevance of one particular personality trait: boldness.

I’m in the camp that believes boldness is critical to separating out psychopaths from the more mundane law-breakers. It’s the trait that creates the veneer of normalcy, giving those who prey on others the mask to successfully blend in with the rest of society. To lack boldness, on the other hand, is to be what one might call a “shy-chopath.”

The boldness factor

About 10 years ago, psychologist Christopher Patrick and some of his colleagues published an extensive literature review in which they argued that psychopaths were people who expressed elevated levels of three basic traits: meanness, disinhibition and boldness.

Most experts in the mental health field generally agree that the prototypical psychopath is someone who is both mean and, at least to some extent, disinhibited – though there’s even some debate about exactly how impulsive and hot-headed the prototypical psychopath truly is.

RELATED: People Who Drink Black Coffee Are More Likely To Have Psychopathic Tendencies

In a psychological context, people who are mean tend to lack empathy and have little interest in close emotional relationships. They’re also happy to use and exploit others for their own personal gain.

Highly disinhibited people have very poor impulse control, are prone to boredom and have difficulty managing emotions – particularly negative ones, like frustration and hostility.

In adding boldness to the mix, Patrick and his colleagues argued that genuine psychopaths are not just mean and disinhibited, they’re also individuals who are poised, fearless, emotionally resilient and socially dominant.

Although it had not been the focus of extensive research for the past few decades, the concept of the bold psychopath isn’t actually new. Famed psychiatrist Hervey Cleckley described it in his seminal 1941 book, “The Mask of Sanity,” in which he described numerous case examples of psychopaths who were brazen, fearless and emotionally unflappable.

Ted Bundy is an excellent example of such a person. He was far from unassuming and timid. He never appeared wracked with anxiety or emotional distress. He charmed scores of victims, confidently served as his own attorney and even proposed to his girlfriend while in court.

“It’s probably just being willing to take risk,” Bundy said, in the Netflix documentary, of what motivated his crimes. “Or perhaps not even seeing risk. Just overcome by that boldness and desire to accomplish a particular thing.”

Seeds planted in the DSM

In the current DSM, the closest current diagnosis to psychopathy is antisocial personality disorder. Although the manual suggests that it historically has been referred to as psychopathy, the current seven diagnostic criteria for antisocial personality disorder mostly fall under the umbrella of disinhibition – qualities like “recklessness,” “impulsiveness” and, to a lesser extent, meanness, which are evident in only two criteria: “lack of remorse” and “deceitfulness.”

There’s no mention of boldness. In other words, you don’t have to be bold to have antisocial personality disorder. In fact, because you only need to meet three of the seven criteria to be diagnosed with the disorder, it means you don’t even need to be all that mean, either.

RELATED: If You Order This Drink You Might Be A Psychopath

However, the most recent revision to the DSM, the fifth edition, did include a supplemental section for proposed diagnoses in need of further study.

In this supplemental section, a new specifier was offered for those who meet the diagnosis for antisocial personality disorder. If you have a bold and fearless interpersonal style that seems to serve as a mask for your otherwise mean and disinhibited personality, you might also be diagnosable as a psychopath.

Can a psychopath be meek?

Whether this new model, which seems to put boldness center stage in the diagnosis of psychopathy, ultimately will be adopted into subsequent iterations of the DSM system remains to be seen.

Several researchers have criticized the concept. They see meanness and disinhibition as much more important than boldness when deciding whether someone is a psychopath.

Their main issue seems to be that people who are bold – but not mean or disinhibited – actually seem to be well-adjusted and not particularly violent. In fact, compared with being overly introverted or prone to emotional distress, it seems to be an asset in everyday life.

Other researchers, myself included, tend to view those criticisms as not particularly compelling. In our view, someone who is simply disinhibited and mean – but not bold – would not be able to pull off the spectacular level of manipulation that a psychopath is capable of.

To be sure, being mean and disinhibited is a bad combination. But absent boldness, you’re probably not going to show up on the evening news for having schemed scores of investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars. The chances that you’ll successfully charm unsuspecting victim after unsuspecting victim into coming back to your apartment to sexually assault them seem pretty slim.

That being said, timid but mean people – the “shycho-paths” – almost certainly do exist, and it’s probably best to stay away from them, too.

But you’re unlikely to confuse them with the Ted Bundys and Charles Mansons of the world. The Conversation

Is It Possible To Be Addicted To Cannabis?

Since cannabis addiction is much less severe than tobacco and other addictions, providing a definition has become a challenging task for researchers and even gave birth to controversy.

Let’s review the latest research and find out if everyone can put down cannabis relatively easily.

Can One Really Be Addicted To Cannabis?

Let’s make one thing very clear from the start: no one has died from cannabis use. While this is an incredible fact that makes cannabis incomparable with tobacco and alcohol addiction-related deaths, it also misleads that marijuana addiction doesn’t exist. Cannabis has a potential for being addictive, says the National Institute on Drug Abuse. According to this source, 30 percent of marijuana users develop some degree of marijuana use disorder, which takes the form of addiction in some cases.

RELATED: Expert Tips On Taking A Marijuana Tolerance Break This Spring

Here’s the list of signs of cannabis addiction:

  • Unable to stop marijuana use
  • Cannabis tolerance and withdrawal
  • Spending a lot of time smoking cannabis
  • Using more cannabis than intended
  • Using cannabis to handle daily problems
  • Depending on cannabis to relax
  • Continuing to smoke despite the first health-related problems it causes

What Does Chronic Cannabis Use Mean?

A comprehensive, widely accepted definition of chronic cannabis use doesn’t exist. However, one can make safe assumptions by analyzing population samples in studies of chronic cannabis use. For example, a recent study published in “Diabetes Care” used chronic cannabis smokers with the following characteristics:

  • Smoking an average of 10 ± 8 joints per day
  • Smoking for 12 ± 9 years.

Also, scientists studying marijuana addiction also suggest that an addicted person is someone who attempted to quit several times throughout the years but failed every time.

So, an addicted individual is someone who smokes 10 joints on average every day for the past 10 years and tried unsuccessfully to quit.

Another important factor for addiction is lack of responsibility skills. According to Carl Hart, an associate professor of psychology at Columbia University who gave an interview to Healthline, addiction rates increase in population groups “who are not plugged in with jobs, families, and social networks.”

The health effects of cannabis addiction have been investigated for a long time, but limited evidence exists on addiction. Here’s what is known: after several days of marijuana use, it becomes stored in the body’s fatty tissue. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), one of the cannabinoids contained in the marijuana plant, is gradually released into the bloodstream.

One of the most comprehensive studies that summarized 20 years of adverse health effects of chronic cannabis use was published in Addiction journal and provided some interesting results. According to this study, a continuous supply of cannabinoids produces a continuous effect, so the person smoking cannabis on a regular basis will experience a slightly affected focus, concentration, and attention.

RELATED: How Safe Is It To Smoke Marijuana Every Day?

Here’s the list of health effects described by the researchers:

  • Acute Effects: anxiety, cognitive impairment, and low birth weight when used during pregnancy
  • Chronic Effects: reduced learning, memory, and attention; bronchitis.

The Bottom Line

Cannabis addiction is rare but it very real and dangerous. Even though most people don’t experience withdrawal, some have to turn to rehab or support groups to beat the addiction. Preventing addiction thus should be a goal of every cannabis user.
